The Ray White Group results for September 2015 saw the highest sales month ever recorded for a single month for the group. The sales results were 69% ahead of the same period last year and 27% ahead of August 2015. The combined sales results saw members complete 1,455 transactions at an average sale price of $583,000, which gave a net released total turnover volume of $731million. The number of listings secured increased substantially to 1,881. This in turn lifted the overall listing portfolio of the group by 11%, which is the single largest inventory increase in 2015.
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said “The dynamics of the September results show a distinct change, not only in the transactional volume that has occurred, but also the listing volume; both of which are at record levels for our group. This is the first time in 2015 that there has been a significant volume difference in a positive sense between the volume of listings and the volume of sales. There has also been a substantial lift in the number of auction properties submitted to the market. There has been a noticeable change in buyer behaviour, which indicates there are still significant number of sales occurring however it is not at the same buyer-depth level recorded during the winter period.”
The top three businesses in New Zealand was led by Ray White City Apartments, who completed 102 property sales for the month and recorded a personal best sales result. Ray White Remuera continues to produce outstanding results, transacting a total of $51 million in turnover for the month. Ray White Ponsonby featured as the number three office for the group, continuing their strong focus on marketing and completing $38 million in sales.
The record results across the group saw three offices achieve personal best results for the month. These were headlined by Ray White City Apartments, who marketed 67 properties for auction and completed 102 transactions. Ray White Manukau completed 61 transactions for the month, recording a result of $19.8 million. Ray White Pakuranga also had a personal best sales month at $14.5 million.
Across the country – in Northland, Ray White Whangarei featured as the leading office. Ray White Paihia and Ray White Tutukaka also had a successful month. In the Auckland region the top three businesses were also the top three businesses in New Zealand; beingRay White City Apartments, Ray White Remuera and Ray White Ponsonby. The Central North Island featured an outstanding sales month by Ray White Hamilton and Ray White Te Awamutu, who both featured in the national top 10. Ray White Lower Hutt was the leading office in the Lower North Island region and Ray White Wanganui also had an outstanding sales transaction month. The Upper South Island featured Ray White Richmond as the leading business. In Canterbury, Ray White Metro, Ray White Rolleston and Ray White Prier Manson were the top three businesses. In the Lower South Island, Ray White Wanaka completed $11 million in property sales. Ray White Invercargill and Ray White Dunedin both produced successful sales results.
The Ray White Group will open four new offices this month – Ray White Te Puke, Ray White Takapuna, Ray White Devonport and Ray White Halswell. This will take the total number of Ray White offices across New Zealand to 145.
